After recovering from the shock of Neverland's recent attack, Noah and the team are sent back into the field to identify and eliminate a power player who uses his position as a legitimate arms dealer to manipulate terror groups and nations alike. Unfortunately, this means infiltrating the man's organization, and the only opening he's got is for an assassin of his own.
Impersonating a recently eliminated assassin-for-hire, Noah makes his way through the ranks to the top leadership, but then comes the surprise. The Top Dog isn't who the government thought he was, and the truth will have repercussions that will rock the world.

This is another GREAT story in the Noah Wolfe saga! The fab four are back at it again and up against their most formidable opponent. He's a ruthless assassin that EVERYONE is after, though few have ever seen his face and lived to tell about it, because this guy leaves NO loose ends! NONE! However, when the assassin is captured by MI6, E & E sets up Noah in his place to take down the head of the organization who hired the assassin. Simple -- right? As our guys get in place and start working their plan, the real assassin escapes and now there are two of them -- the real one and Noah, whose has been made to look just like him -- dyed hair, minor facial reconstruction, and color changing contacts. All the good stuff here -- new gadgets from Neil, fast cars and fancy driving form Sarah, Moose doing his muscle thing, and Noah methodically working the plan -- killing the bad guys and never feeling a thing! All the other good guys are here too -- Allison, Dr. Parker, Jefferson -- almost recovered from his ordeal in the last book, and our favorite Brit, Catherine. Some of the other things I love about this group is all the talk about food! In the midst of the planning a lethal attack, they're eating chicken, scarfing down steak, making sandwiches, etc. Not sure if this next point is setting up a potential lover's quarrel or split, but Sarah was exceptionally whiney and clingy in this book, Allison told her just before this mission that Molly was coming to work for E & E, but we don't see her in this story. I guess she'll show up in the next book. Sarah's behavior could be laying the ground work for some problems in her and Noah's relationship! Hope not, but it could be a good plot twist for the future. Plus, there's some foreshadowing?? in the book -- when Noah said he wished he knew what love felt like and Sarah told him she thought it was just all locked away in his brain and she worried about when it broke loose, and also some foreshadowing of character death -- no spoilers here, but keep your eyes open and keep your head down! Couple of glaring errors editing should have caught -- used Adrian's name when it should have been Allison, and a few other true typos that shouldn't have made it all the way to final cut before publishing. One storyline error I think -- Sam saying how blessed he was to be married to Belinda, and what a good wife she was, then he asks Catherine out later in the story. Did the author forget Sam was married?? Also, some loose ends not tied up. . . like Mr. Broussard! Hopefully, we'll find out these things in the next book! Even with my few complaints, still a great read -- fast paced and we get to hang out with these guys!Product details

Hit For Hire A Noah Wolf Thriller edition by David Archer Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Noah Wolfe is an entirely new kind of character; a man who, through no fault of his own, has no emotions. He, part of a four man team, is an assassin for a secret government company. Due to the fact that he has no emotions, he is their finest assassin. For someone with his problems, he is able to inspire friendship, loyalty and love from the members of his team. I would recommend this book to those who love a good spy story and those who enjoy a good story about friendship and love!
I am a girl who loves Action thrillers and David Archer brings it right to me. The lead character Noah has a personality wear he does not feel any emotions brought on by a very messed up childhood. However, he became a very reliable person when it becomes necessary to eliminate anyone that is not living the American way. Noah and his team all rely on each other for their expertise areas and become a family together. I've ready the majority of his books and won't stop until there are no further adventures to read.
As in other David Archer/Noah Wolfe thrillers, plot/action is the strong point. This is not the place to learn about realistic fieldwork or team chemistry in this book Sarah is both a team member and Archer's love interest to the point where her judgement is unreliable and she is openly reluctant to see him go into action. In HIT FOR HIRE, readers will find a 'Mission Impossible' pattern thriller. Noah is tasked with impersonating 'Adrian', a top-level assassin, who is being recruited for a high-visibility hit in Britain. His support team takes the field with him and Caroline, the semi-covert working link between American and British counter-terrorist services, is on hand to provide communications support when needed. The question this time is 'how well will that work?' Just as the team makes contact with the leaders of the terrorist group seeking to employ 'Adrian', the real assassin breaks out of a detention/interrogation facility. The reader is the first to know this will Noah find out in time? How will he and the team try to handle a doubly-complicated mission? That is the basis for the 'good stuff' in this novel. Dialog between the team members mostly counts as 'filler'. Relationships are stereotypical rather than insightful or fresh. Readers who thrive on standard thriller fare, lifted by a taut plot will like this book best and that accounts for the five-star reviews given by other readers.
I can't understand these authors who get you hooked on characters and then start killing them off. I don't like it and won't buy anymore of his books
